We are currently looking for a European Omnicare Manager Industries for our Industries department in Schiedam.

What does this mean? 
Responsible for non OEM Bid Management and Development in the region and achievement of order intake goals, plans and activities of the related products/services in assigned region.

Tasks: 

  • Definition of the target order intake for the region;
  • Planning and budgeting for the assigned region;
  • Target growth according approach for Omnicare including revamps and footprint solutions for 3rd party business;
  • Responsible to support the growth strategies within the region (budget quotations, order intake, revenue/casing, customer visits), follow up on open payments;
  • Win new customers with a systematic approach / and get understanding and agreement on general terms and conditions;
  • Registration, acceptance of non OEM products with all customers /end users so that each product gets the best chance in the market;
  • Assisting sales in building up customers relationships from prospecting to closing;
  • Negotiate/approve contracts and service agreements;
  • Develop and implements marketing plans;
  • Regional coordination and support between customers, sales, engineering and PC;
  • Collect & communicate market intelligence / competitors activities, project opportunities and support Regional Development Manager;
  • Monthly Business Review / Reporting in KPI Dashboard a structured and professional manner;
  • Participate in monthly meetings (Sales Funnel Call, Core Team Meeting);
  • Set Up and Follow Up Regional Sales Calls with IGCs to ensure optimal filling grade of Sales Funnel;
  • Identification and usage of external partners in defined fields (Field Service / Engineering);
  • Alignment with Global Omnicare organization as well as PrimeServ Omnicare Marine and Power.

  • Excellent skills set required in areas such as communication, contract negotiation, terms and conditions design, legal implications of terms and conditions and project management  at the most senior level of customer;
  • Strong networker, engaging, well aware of the local market and within MAN-ES;
  • Sound interpersonal, presentation as well as intercultural skills and understanding;
  • Intercultural skills;
  • Very good coordination, organized and communication skills in a highly dynamic environment;
  • Ability to uphold the highest ethical standards and high integrity;
  • Focus on business development;
  • Fast response to customer demands;
  • Solution oriented mind-set regarding sales approach;
  • Management of small task areas/organizational units (e.g. projects, teams);
  • Cross-departmental coordination of objectives and procedures;
  • Effective networks with customer in terms of results;
  • Goal-oriented leadership of team;
  • Able to detect and handle conflicts in own team at an early stage;
  • Presentation skills and ability to lead and minute meetings;
  • Responsible for holding successful negotiations with customers;
  • Maintenance and expansion of country-specific contacts in cooperation with on-site organization and line;
  • Preferred contact partner for regions, IGCs and PC;
  • Must occasionally resolve previously unrecognised and complex problems;
  • This must also take place under changing framework conditions;
  • Occasionally required to work under increased performance or time pressure;
  • You have a good command of the English language in word and writing.
