PrimeServ Omnicare, the youngest of the MAN PrimeServ’s headquarters located in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, is responsible for a broad range of aftersales service solutions for non-MAN Energy Solutions products (Omnicare), all with the purpose of extending our current service portfolio and ultimately becoming a one-stop service provider for our valued customers and partner for various OEMs.

We are currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager for our PrimeServ Omnicare global headquarter from where the entire 3rd party business of MAN PrimeServ Marine & Power is managed and coordinated. As a Regional Sales Manager you will be responsible for all Omnicare related sales activities, as well as for the achieving of the agreed order intake in the assigned region(s) by working very closely with local sales teams, both on the level of front sales as well as sales directors. In relation to the selected strategic accounts the regional sales manager will act as front sales, proactively approaching the customers, generating leads and bringing orders, all in coordination with the existent global key account organisation. 

We can offer you the following tasks:

  • Responsible the order intake in the assigned region(s) for the Omnicare priority products by closely working together with front sales in the region towards: 
  • Active promotion of the Omnicare priority products, incl. internal sales trainings, road-shows and joint customer visits;
  • Identifying the regional/local potentials, focus areas/market segments, supporting the local front sales to define sales strategies and agreeing on KPIs with the local sales organisations;
  • Regularly follow up on agreed KPIs (e.g. customers visits, qualified leads and orders);
  • Active support of the front sales and follow up in closing large projects.
  • Responsible the sales growth with the assigned strategic accounts for the Omnicare solutions by directly working with the assigned customers as front sales;
  • Support the assigned region(s) in growing the Omnicare business in general (Omnicare focus products and local products) by ensuring that each local organization has a sound and realistic business and action plan for how to reach the Omnicare targets in the current and following years;
  • Regularly planning and follow up meetings with the local front sales. Monthly follow up meetings with the local and regional heads of sales;
  • Provide market feedback to the headquarters and ensure that the needs of the regions are prioritized. Ensure that the Omnicare strategy is understood and followed in the region.

You can help us with these qualifications:

  • Master degree in business administration or engineering;
  • +3 years of work experience in a sales or business development position in marine industry;
  • Knowledgeable about marine equipment, especially on the service side;
  • Good understanding of marine industry, and especially of the vessel operations;
  • Customer centric, service minded, entrepreneurial, self-disciplined, and highly motivated with ability to focus on defined priorities;
  • Excellent communicator and good listener;
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, additional foreign language are advantageous
  • Readiness to travel as required by business needs (+20% of the time)
