Project Manager Industries Workshop Department (fulltimer)

 

We are currently looking for a motivated employee for our MAN Energy Solutions Schiedam office. As a full-time Project Manager Industries Workshop Department you will be responsible for for the successful project execution of the customer oriented activities for our workshop department.

Your role:

  • Visit (potential) customers / own network at least 3 times per week. Note: Customer visits are not required during shutdown preparation.
  • Facilitate discussions on maintenance shutdown scope, malfunctions, and installation modifications. 
  • Work in the Schiedam office once a week.
  • Select subcontractors and negotiate pricing.
  • Prepare budgets for maintenance projects.
  • Distributing overview sheets via heliportal to employees regarding their overtime hours, time-saving arrangements, etc. 
  • Create maintenance schedules in consultation with clients.
  • Responsible for negotiations with customers.
  • Act as the single point of contact for customers.
  • Occasionally resolve previously unrecognized and complex problems.
     

Your qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Possession of VCA VOL certification.
  • Project management experience with 3+ years of related experience.
  • Comparable specialized expertise in Project management (additional formal qualification certificates, etc).
  • Continuous updating of knowledge to stay updated of industry trends and best practices.
  • Knoweldge relating to market and economic aspects, project management, and business administration.
  • Sales experience in an international environment, demonstrating the ability to effectively engage with diverse clientele.
  • Professionalism recognized across all departments, showcasing your ability to collaborate and excel within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Fluency in Business English and Dutch.
