We are currently looking for an experienced Product Manager for our PrimeServ Omnicare global headquarter located in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, from where the entire 3rd party business of MAN PrimeServ Marine & Power is managed and coordinated.

What does this mean? 
PrimeServ Omnicare consist of a broad range of aftersales service solutions for other maker equipment, all with the purpose of extending our current service portfolio and ultimately becoming an one-stop service provider for our valued customers. As a Product Manager you will be responsible for preparing, maturing and maintaining assigned Omnicare products while ensuring that order intake and profitability targets are met. By developing a clear, effective and customer-oriented product strategy, you will support the local front-end sales organizations in implementing the assigned Omnicare products and concepts. 

Your Tasks: 

  • Full product responsibility for assigned in-market Omnicare products (service and spare parts, retrofit solutions)
  • Responsible for global order intake and profitability (CM2) for assigned in-market Omnicare products
  • Develope, implement and follow-up product go-to-market strategies
  • Plan product time-line and ensure that assigned products are launched according to schedule
  • Coordinate the development and maintain all nesserary commerical and technical product documentation 
  • Faciliate internal workshops and trainings as well as external webinars
  • Become the product expert and primary point of contact for all commerical questions related to the assigned Omnicare products
  • Develop a good understanding of the relevant markets and what the different market characteristics mean for the product implementation
  • Support the global front-sales organisation in defining and implementing the regional and country-specific product strategies 
  • Support the local sales organisations in promoting the assigned Omnicare products and concepts towards customers if needed
  • Become main point of contact to assigned OEM suppliers, by conducting regular product status and target follow-up meetings 
  • Continous tracking and assesment of the product implementation, adjusting go-to-market plan if neccesary 
  • Follow-up on large open enquries for assigned products to ensure progress
     

Who you are:  

  • University degree or equivalent in engineering, business or comparable
  • Min. 3 years’ work experience in a sales or business development position with focus on after sales / service
  • Good understanding of the marine and/or power generation industry
  • Experience of working with international customers and suppliers is an advantage
  • Highly analytical with the ability to make data-driven decision-making
  • Customer centric, service minded, entrepreneurial, self-disciplined, and highly motivated with ability to focus on defined priorities
  • Fluent in spoken and written English is required. Additional languages are advantageous
  • Readiness to travel as required by business needs
