International Sales Manager (Omnicare) (Rotterdam, The Netherlands)

For our PrimeServ Omnicare global headquarter located in the Netherlands, from where the entire 3rd party business of MAN PrimeServ Marine & Power is managed and coordinated, we are currently looking for an experienced Sales Manager.

What does this mean?
Your task as the holder of this position is to grow the order intake generated with 3rd party products and services (with and on non-MAN products) with dedicated multinational key accounts from the shipping industry. This will be done by promoting the solutions offered by our business partners, by promoting the service capabilities of our global service network with experienced and qualified service engineers and certified workshops, and by matching the demands of the businesses of our customers with the propositions we are able to offer today. By building strong relationships within the organizations of our customers the holder of the position will be able to suggest which solutions our customers will need tomorrow and hence will enable our business development team to work in the right directions.

Your Tasks:

  • Responsible for the sales of all products and services with and on 3rd party equipment (Omnicare) with our global key accounts and designated strategic customers – with primary focus on the marine/shipping industry;
  • Responsible for the promotion of the existing Omnicare portfolio, identification of the customers’ needs in regards to services on 3rd party equipment, together with our local organizations development of customer-specific service solutions;
  • Responsible for the identifications of business opportunities, preparation of winning tenders, following-up with the customers, adaptation, negotiations, and turning the opportunities into orders;
  • Responsible for initiation and execution of targeted sales campaigns and promotions related to the specific technical solutions for selected customers;
  • Responsible for the acquisition of long-term service agreements (LTSA) for the Omnicare products and for the integration of the Omnicare products in the existing LTSAs for MAN equipment;
  • Responsible for standalone Omnicare LTSAs: identification of potential customers;
  • Primary point of contact in all questions related to Omnicare propositions for all global key account managers, sales managers from various headquarters, and designated customers (in relation to the Omnicare products);

Who you are:

  • University degree in business, engineering or comparable;
  • Min. 5 years work experience in a sales or business development position in marine industry;
  • Deep understanding of marine business, and especially of the vessel operations;
  • Extensive network in the shipping industry, especially among technical ship management companies;
  • Customer-centric, service-minded, entrepreneurial, self-disciplined, and highly motivated with ability to focus on defined priorities;
  • Excellent communicator with very strong negotiating skills;
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, additional foreign languages are advantageous;
  • Readiness to travel as required by business needs (partially >40% of the time and sometimes on very short notice).
