PrimeServ Omnicare, the  youngest of the MAN PrimeServ’s product centres, located in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, is responsible for a broad range of aftersales service solutions for other maker equipment (non-MAN Energy Solutions) in Marine and Power generating business, with the purpose of extending our current service portfolio and ultimately becoming an one-stop service provider for our valued customers and partner for various OEMs.


We are currently looking for an Head of Technical Consulting for our PrimeServ Omnicare global headquarter. As a Head of Technical Consulting you will be part of the PrimeServ Omnicare management team, in charge of all technical matters, involved in all strategic decisions and jointly responsible for the global Omnicare business. On a day-to-day basis you will be supporting, guiding and developing a growing team of technical consultants.
 

We can offer you the following tasks:

  • Lead and develop the technical team in charge of the technical implementation and support of the Omnicare products;
  • Functional leadership in relation to Omnicare products for all involved MAN PrimeServ service managers (more than 120 locations);
  • Ensure the personal development of each team member and secure a strong team cooperation. Set direction and priorities of the team. Ensure that the quality and quantity of the competences in available in the team.
  • Highest technical expertise within MAN ES in relation to the assigned Omnicare product(s).
  • Support the MAN local service organizations (IGCs) in regards to any technical matters in relation to the assigned Omnicare product(s).
  • Responsible for building up a strong relation and functioning communication on the technical level between with the OEM(s)/Partner(s) as well as with all the relevant IGCs.
  • Ensure that that the necessary technical information and documentation is available and accessible for the ICGs.
  • Ensure that the required number of engineers in the ICGs are assigned, trained, qualified and available to do the respective Omnicare jobs. Ensure that the workshops have all necessary tooling and procedures.
  • Organize regular exchange between the technical teams of involved IGCs

You can help us with these qualifications:

  • People leadership experience, with a track record of building successful team(s)
  • 5+ years’ experience in a service (after sales) role
  • Experience of working in a global organization organized in a matrix structure
  • Sound technical knowledge of equipment used for maritime and power generation industries.
  • Strategic mindset with proven track record of implemented innovations in service business;
  • Experience with implementing new products / services (on the technical side).
