Technical Support Marine

We are currently looking for a motivated person for our MAN Energy Solutions Antwerpen office. As a Technical Support Marine you will be responsible for ensuring support to our Service Engineers, Superintendent Engineers and customers with technical questions and the execution of complex technical projects to guarantee an efficient and high quality service that supports the customer in the long term.
 

Your role:

  • You provide technical advice, both internally and externally
  • You collect and analyze information related to potential projects
  • You spread relevant information to the colleagues involved
  • You create concept reports together with the technical manager
  • You review and approve technical reports of the Service Engineers and Superintendent Engineers
  • You maintain technical information
  • You collect and share technical knowledge related to the MAN ES BE product portfolio

Your qualifications:

  • You have a bachelor's degree and you have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position
  • You have technical knowledge at a higher acceptable level
  • You have good technical and practical knowledge of 2-stroke marine engines
  • You have good technical and practical knowledge of 4-stroke marine engines
  • You have good technical and practical knowledge of turbochargers (axial and radial types)
  • Strong communication skills towards employees, team members and customers
  • Team player, approachable, cooperative and friendly
  • Highly developed administrative skills and a detail-oriented work style
  • Ability to effectively manage deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent command of written and spoken Dutch and English
  • You are living in the Antwerp region
